W. A. Hawkes-Robinson (“Hawke Robinson”) is the founder of The RPG Research Project. Studies on the effects of all forms of role-playing games: tabletop, live-action, & computer-based. www.rpgresearch.com Washington State Department of Health registered Recreation Therapist. Student at Eastern Washington University working on interdisciplinary degrees in Recreation Therapy, Music Therapy, Neuroscience, & Research Psychology. AS/CS, MCSE, MCP+I, SCSAp1, CNA, & GCIH. After a successful career as an executive (Chief Technology Officer/ Chief Information Officer) in the computer sciences, information technology, & information security industries working in many locations, including the Silicon Valley area of California, Hawke retired in 2003 to raise his family full-time. A role-playing gamer and game developer since 1979, Hawke is researching the development an implementation of regular and adaptive program plans for various regular and special-needs populations, including using role-playing games as intervention modalities for people with Autism spectrum (ASD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), the Deaf community, at-risk youth, and other populations.
