
Garima Khatri has a background in Medicine and is a clinical
Masters of Social Work student at the University of Calgary where she received
a Recognition of Excellence Award for field training in Geriatric Psychiatry.
She is currently the Project Coordinator of the Immigrant Seniors Project, and
Co-Chair of the province-wide Taking Action Against Elder Abuse Coordinated
Community Response Grant Coordinator Network. Garima is also an internationally
accredited Certified Information and Referrals Specialist, and an operational
supervisor in the Helplines Program at the Canadian Mental Health Association
Edmonton Region. She is looking forward to training in forensic psychiatric
social work over the summer.
