Kitty Choi is a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2017 from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts in 2000 from the University of Hong Kong. She is the Team Lead of Responding to Family Violence in the Chinese Community Program, a Community-based Victim Services Program funded by Alberta Justice and Solicitor General. Kitty has been working with Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking victims directly impacted by family violence and human trafficking to provide ongoing and outreach supports since 2010. She is also on the roster of Alberta Courts as a qualified Cantonese interpreter for criminal and civil law matters.
