Lisa Stewart

Gifted Education Teacher
SEEC CREW
Participates in 1 Session

I’m Lisa Stewart, a native Texan spending my third year in the midwest. This is my 24th year in education; I have taught grades PK-5th grade. This year I have helped my district develop a new gifted program and I teach gifted students in grades K-5. I was honored to be named Science Teachers Association of Texas Outstanding Elementary Science Teacher of the Year in 2014 and Killeen ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2020. One of the things I anticipate most each year is attending SEEC. I have been fortunate enough to participate in beta testing a survival training that included an underwater vehicle escape in the Neutral Buoyancy Lab! This year I am so excited to be completing my fourth year in SEEC Crew!
