How:
Use curiosity about water recycling on the ISS to introduce a water filtration/purification engineering activity, consider applications in daily lives, and investigate third-world water issues. Designed for high school chemistry, these lessons can be modified for middle school and provide connections to biology, social sciences, environmental science, and language arts.
