Shannon Baldioli
she/her
Shannon Baldioli coordinates the Education Department’s teacher professional development efforts, including both local and national programs. She also spent nearly four years working with the Museum’s Explainers Program at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
Baldioli is a former classroom teacher who transitioned to museum education after teaching in several school districts in northeast Ohio. Her experiences with audiences of diverse backgrounds and abilities include time in public elementary, middle and high schools, the National Building Museum, National Zoological Park, and National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in integrated social studies (secondary education/history) from Kent State University and a master’s degree in museum education from The George Washington University.
