Ailsean started playing guitar in 1988 and hasn't really stopped since. He's made a lot of music on his own, but mostly plays support roles in groups with people who are better writers. He was a member of the game music band The Smash Brothers, and is one of the two rhythm guitarists in LONELYROLLINGSTARS. His current in-person, live performing original music project is Grass & Stone, where he plays guitar, sings, and produces. He started working with The Grammar Club during the recording of their second album in 2009, and serves as a multi-instrumentalist and backup production Wizard in its present incarnation.
