Anthropocene fiction/Cli Fi is being touted as the contemporary literature of our Earth in transformation, exploring impacts and effects of climate change as we head into an uncertain future.  But didn’t ecocatastrophe science fiction of the 50s – 70s cover this ground already? Cat Sparks takes a look at then and now: have we been here before or is cli fi breaking new ground?
