How do horror writers and film-makers deal with advances in tech such as cell phones - giving characters a light source and the ability to call for help (with a GPS reading and a photo of the monster)? Are we going to have to go back to setting stories in Transylvania (which now has faster internet than Australia), or can we use these devices into new horrors?
