Whatever humanity’s future actions, it now seems all-but-guaranteed that the Earth of 2100 is not going to resemble the Earth of 2019. Science fiction writers are already on top of this, with the growing number of climate-based SF works being published each year - but how accurate are they? What are the likely effects of a hotter Earth than our authors and creatives simply are not taking into consideration?
