James Tiptree Jr., pseudonym for Alice Sheldon, was one of the genre's best short story writers. She died 30 years ago this year, but her stories live one. Today, Tiptree is counted among the big feminist writers of the 60s and 70s, but is probably mostly remembered for passing as a male writer and fan for years. The panel discusses Tiptree's work and influence on the SF field.
