Compounded Prescriptions in Clinical Practice
Low dose naltrexone is a drug historically known for treating people with addiction or in opioid overdose. However, over the last few decades this drug has been found to have profound benefits in a multitude of chronic diseases, from rheumatoid arthritis to Crohn's disease to depression. This presentation will highlight the uses of LDN in primary care, the data available, and what we know about the mechanism of action.
