Dejan Hribar has been working at IOLAR for the past
10 years. He finished his studies at the Department of Translation in
Ljubljana, and then honed his skills at Iolar where he was actively involved in
day-to-day operations on all levels, ranging from translation, quality
assurance, project management, team management and lastly as head of office in
Croatia. Recently, he has stepped into the world of entrepreneurship and is
continuing his career as a localisation specialist and a SDL Trados Studio
trainer. A translator by profession, project manager and team leader by
occupation, and a Trados Studio certified trainer by vocation, he has worked
with various TEnTs (translation environment tools) and technologies throughout
the past 10 years. In recent years, he has also been focusing on work optimization.
During this process he developed an appreciation and deeper understanding of
importance of protecting your most important asset – yourself.
