Sarah Goodman

Participates in 1 Session
An anthropologist by training and a (retired) bureaucrat by profession, Sarah Goodman lives in the past (researching, creating and enacting living history) and the future (through science fiction and fantasy, and through fandom); what time she has in the present is mostly spent petting cats and reading cozy mysteries. Beyond that, Ms Goodman’s interests include cultures, religion, law, clothing, and women’s studies, and the various relationships between any combination of them.  She enjoys graphic design, prop making, cooking, hosting convivial gatherings, and hanging out with her friends and family. Her interest in the evolution of etiquette grew out of her participation in San Francisco’s annual Dickens Christmas Fair, at which she currently serves as costume designer and assistant directrix for “The Saucy French Postcard Tableaux Review”, a tasteful but slightly risqué romp through history, the arts, and how to manage a Victorian Husband. She created and hosted Guinan ’s Place at Sasquan. Worldcon 76 is "Lady Sarah" at Callahan’s Place, and hopes to see you there.
