Jamie Hanrahan started reading sf in grade school, has been around sf convention fandom for decades, and has been making "things that go blink in the night" for costumers and prop builders for much of that time. Talk to him about science fiction, science, technology, electronics, ham radio. Professionally he works on Windows kernel mode development and training (but please don't talk to him about that; he's supposed to be on vacation!). His other major leisure time activity is ballroom and swing dancing, particularly west coast swing, jitterbug, and the other "club" dances.
