Sharon Diane King holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and is Associate at UCLA’s Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. She has organized several conferences at UCLA, most recently The Comic Supernatural (April 2017). Her 2017 presentation at the International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts (ICFA) was on the TV series iZombie. Recent academic publications include essays in the anthologies Of Bread, Blood and The Hunger Games (McFarland 2012); Supernatural, Humanity, and the Soul (Palgrave 2014); and The Last Midnight: Critical Essays on Apocalyptic Narratives in Millennial Media (McFarland 2016). She resides in Los Angeles.
