
Kjell N. Lindgren, MD is a NASA astronaut who was on the ISS for Expedition 44/45.* Dr. Lindgren spent most of his childhood abroad, and return to the US to complete his education and earn his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Colorado. He is board certified in emergency medicine and aerospace medicine. A USAF Academy graduate, he was selected as one of 14 members of the 20th NASA astronaut class in 2009, and has logged 141 days in space.
*He was an attending member of Sasquan (Worldcon) in 2015, and presented from the station!
