Kathy has been watching Dr. Who since she was in the womb. While technically Colin Baker should be her Doctor, she loved Peter Davison the best. Subsisting on the Target novelizations, BBC  books, and Big Finish Audio Dramas, she cried copious tears of joy when New Who came back on the air in 2005. Never missing an episode, Kathy enjoys discussing the finer points of wibbley-wobbley timey-wimey stuff with anyone who will sit still long enough.

In convention running, Kathy has been primarily been involved with Norwescon. Starting in 2009, she joined the staff and helped Norwescon apply for recognition as an IRS 501(c)(3) exempt organization. She then was chair of Norwescon for Norwescons 38, 39, and 40. On the Worldcon stage, she’s a recent entrant and began volunteering with Sasquan and is the current Operations Division Head for San Jose Worldcon 76.

Ask her about Seattle 2025, an intentionally feminist bid for Worldcon 2025.

Outside of fandom, Kathy is a recovering academic who is a hit at cocktail parties with obscure trivia about European judicial systems. She can also be found dancing at clubs and raucously singing along with karaoke at dive bars.
