Jonathan Brazee is a retired Marine infantry colonel (he also served 4 years in the Navy as a midshipman at the US Naval Academy). Although he has a long history of writing non-fiction, he wrote his first novel while deployed to Iraq in 2006. He began writing fiction in earnest in 2012, and now writes full-time. He writes mostly military SF, milfic, paranormal, and historical fiction. Jonathan is a hybrid writer with both self-published and trad-published work but with a heavy emphasis on self-publishing. He has published 62 titles to date. His novelette, "Weaponized Math," was a 2017 Nebula Finalist, and his novel Integration is a 2018 Dragon Award Finalist. He is very active within SFWA and is the chairman of the Education Committee.
