Brett M. Rogers is a professor in classics at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. With Benjamin Eldon Stevens, he has co-edited two volumes, Classical Traditions in Science Fiction (2015) and Classical Traditions in Modern Fantasy (2017), both published by Oxford University Press. Together with Stevens and Jesse Weiner, he is co-editor of Frankenstein and Its Classics, due out summer 2018 with Bloomsbury Press. He has published on such topics as classical reception in Dune (for Brill’s Companion to the Reception of Aeschylus, 2017), myth theory in superhero comics (for Classics & Comics, 2011), and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
