Jess Flarity writes bizarro science fiction and is a recent graduate of the Stonecoast MFA program in Popular Fiction. He is the outgoing Editor-in-Chief of the literary journal Stonecoast Review and his debut novel about postgender space junkies in Jupiter is forthcoming from the publisher Whiskey Tit in the near future. His interest in Philip K. Dick’s writing has led him to present at conferences such as ICFA (The International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts), SFRA (The Science Fiction Research Association) and at this year’s International Philip K. Dick Festival. Recently having quit his job as a middle school teacher, he’s now wandering the Earth and wondering how best to convince people why we should build a settlement on the moon.
