Lincoln Peters is a software engineer, a serious amateur photographer, and a historical swordfighter. Last year, he was the masquerade photographer at Worldcon 75 in Helsinki, and he worked with Children's Programming to put on the inaugural Kids' Photography Workshop.

Over the past five years, he has also worked with St. Michael's Salle d'Armes to provide demos and lessons at sci-fi conventions across the bay area, to show writers and fans how swordfighting really works, and to educate them on the differences between real fighting and stage fighting.

Lincoln has also kept an eye on the Maker Movement since shortly after its inception. He has built projects using Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards (some useful, some not), and he is anxiously waiting for an affordable 3-D printer that can work with steel.
