Rivers Solomon writes about life in the margins, where they are much at home. Their short stories and essays have appeared in or are forthcoming from the New York Times, Guernica, Black Warrior Review, Best American Short Stories, and more. In addition to being hailed a best book of 2017 by the Guardian, NPR and many others, Solomon's award-winning debut novel, An Unkindness of Ghosts, was a finalist for a Lambda, Locus, and Hurston/Wright Award and was named a Stonewall honor book. Originally from the US, Solomon graduated with a BA from Stanford University and an MFA from the Michener Center for Writers, they currently live and work in the United Kingdom with their family.
