A 35-year career in scientific computing, systems administration, and technical writing has included working on cutting-edge forecasting software at NOAA’s National Severe Storms Laboratory, numerous astronomy and astrophysics projects, serving on two NASA Mars-orbiter instrument teams at the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, and many others. Active in science education and public outreach (E/PO), both professionally and as a volunteer, she has been a NASA-JPL Solar System Ambassador since 1996.
