Moshe Feder began reading SF and Fantasy in the late 1950s, became an active fan in 1970, and then a pro in 1972, working part time at Amazing and Fantastic while still in college. He’s been a reviewer for Publishers Weekly and Asimov’s, Assistant Editor of the SF Book Club, Editor of the Military Book Club, and a judge for the World Fantasy and Sidewise awards. His only published fiction appeared in Damon Knight’s Orbit 16 in 1975.

A 2011 nominee for the Best Editor Hugo Award, he had his first #1 New York Times bestseller with 2014's Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson. In 2015 he was honored by NESFA with the Edward E. Smith Memorial Award ("the Skylark") for his devotion to SF and Fantasy as both fan and pro.

Moshe has been with Tor Books since 2000 and is currently a Consulting Senior Editor. His authors include David Gerrold, Brandon Sanderson, and Michael Moorcock. He lives in Flushing, NY with his cats Destry and Nemo. He'll be happy to explain why you've probably never eaten a bagel and lox, even though you're sure you have.
