Haijun Yao is the Deputy Editor in Chief of Science Fiction World (SFW) magazine and an originator of the Xingyun Awards. Besides SFW, he has edited the largest SF translations series in China - the World SF Masters Series, as well as the Chinese SF Milestones Series which has pushed many Chinese  authors into the public view.
