Molly Schwartz manages the Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO)'s studio space, which includes an audio recording booth, imaging and digitization station, AV media transfer rack, and digital forensics station. She is also the host and producer of METRO’s podcast, Library Bytegeist. She has worked in digital accessibility and data analytics for the Library of Congress, the U.S. State Department, and the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology. She holds a B.A./M.A. from Johns Hopkins University and an Masters degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland. Molly first came to Finland for a library conference in 2012, where she quickly fell in love with Helsinki and the sauna lifestyle. She has been returning to Finland regularly ever since, first as a Fulbright scholar at the National Library of Finland and later as a co-founder of Kolo.
