The College and Career Readiness Event at the Center for Space Education hosts high school (grade 9-12) students at Kennedy Space Center, to attend an aerospace and technology-focused conference, where they can learn step-by-step how to effectively network, make connections in the industry, explore career opportunities along both academic and trade routes. Students are given opportunities to speak 1:1 with aerospace and tech industry professionals, as well as trade school administrators and college/university representatives.
The space and tech industries need engineers, astronauts, welders, pipefitters, plumbers, teachers, lawyers, artists, entertainers, and more! Register to learn more about options to pursuing an internship or career in the aerospace industry.
Educators and Parents:
Have students who are opting out of the college-route? Send them our way to speak with professionals who have done the same, and help them to land a job right out of high school or trade school!
Have students who want to pursue a degree? Send them our way to speak with university students and professors on the best ways to achieve their academic goals and land a career in the industry.
The event will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024. The event planning team is coordinating with a number of school districts across the state to provide transportation options for students. This will not apply to all Florida school districts. Students are also welcome to register on their own (without school district participation). Space will be limited, and registration is first come, first serve. This event is open to all students (9-12) across the nation. Attendance of this event includes complimentary admission into the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
