William “Bill” McInnish is a passionate Aerospace and Aviation Instructor at Eau Gallie High School dedicated to guiding students toward successful careers in the industry. With 22 years of military service in the Navy and Coast Guard, followed by 30 years as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher, he has played a pivotal role in helping countless students secure jobs in aviation.  We have been at 100% placement for the last five years, with our completing students going to Colleges, the Military, or directly to jobs at Blue Origin, Falcon Jet, Embraer, Lockheed Martin, L3 Harris, Piper, SpaceX, and more.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he completed his Master's Degree at The University of Alabama.

Bill has been recognized for his excellence in education, earning:

*2023 Air/Space Force National Teacher of the Year

*Thomas E. Gamble Excellence in Education for Economic Development Award.

When he's not teaching, you’ll find him fishing or indulging in his lifelong passion—anything and everything related to airplanes.
