Carmen Perez

Carmen A. Perez is a science teacher with over 25 years of experience teaching biology, physics, and earth science in Puerto Rico. She holds an M.A. in Curriculum and Education in Biology and multiple teaching certifications, including STEM Education and K–12 Bilingual Education. She integrates NASA-based projects into her classroom and has served as a STEM instructor for NASA programs, a curriculum developer, and a bilingual translator for NASA EGS. A PAEMST State Finalist and Aldrin Family Foundation Ambassador, Carmen is a passionate advocate for STEM education and community engagement through events like Family STEAM Night, UPR - NASA Summer Camp, STEAM Day and the Space Quest Crew Club.
