Data Scientist
Impossible Sensing

I am a data scientist at Impossible Sensing LLC which is headquartered on Cherokee street in St. Louis. I am a trained condensed matter physicist and studied phase transitions academically. At Impossible Sensing, I apply machine learning and other statistical tools to remote sensing space, ocean, or climate data. This data typically involves spectroscopy (light collected after interaction with matter), and is often applied to autonomous classification or autonomous decision making. We aim to understand extreme environments from micro to macro scales to aid in the search for life outside of earth, monitor and reduce carbon emissions, and to explore biodiversity and minerology on the ocean floor.
