Pablo is a world expert in laser technologies, which his research often applies in the context of robotic Earth and planetary exploration. Pablo has led or taken part in 20+ technology demonstration campaigns in terrestrial analog sites in 6 continents and is member of the Mission Science Teams for the Mars Science Laboratory, Mars 2020, and Exomars missions. Pablo holds two NASA Group Achievement Awards for his contributions to science and technology advancements for the robotic exploration of the solar system.
