While a gaming hobbyist, Vito was professionally a consultant for 25 years (Award winning Author "Why Is My Coworker So Crazy?"), advising CEOs and senior Executives to correct businesses operationally and culturally. As a self-employed NYC business owner, he was involved in small mergers, acquisitions, succession plans and is regarded by many in the northeast as an expert in culture change. He started 5th Epoch Publishing in 2007, and published the Metal, Magic and Lore and Vampire's Codex Role Playing Games as well as the 6mm miniatures war game, Box Battles Cold War Evolution. 5th Epoch has franchised games into novels series, a You Tube Web Comic and an upcoming board game. Vito and the 5th Epoch freelancers are not known for the highest quality products in the game industry, but rather as scrappers, surviving or 11 years with 90% direct-to-customer sales when many micro-publishers have not made it half that lifespan. Vito has sat on panels on topics such as publishing and design, investment, contracts with freelancers, and maintaining social order and cohesion at the game table. He is a martial artist and student of several languages, and as a self-employed professional toured as a musician, with a following on Instagram as a composer and drummer; he recently auditioned for a world-renowned progressive rock band, and continues to write scores for digital entertainment media. He lives in the New York area and is a proud father.
