Born and raised on the Great Plains, Marguerite Reed is a speculative fiction author who once worked in the most notorious abortion clinic in the United States and was a landed Baroness in the Society for Creative Anachronism. Her work has appeared in Strange Horizons, Lone Star Stories, Weird Tales, and received Honorable Mention in Gardner Dozois' The Year's Best Science Fiction. Her first novel, ARCHANGEL, won the Philip K Dick Special Citation in 2016.
