Paul Hahn was born the same month that Star Trek: The Original Series went on the air, and learned to read from his brother's Tom Swift, Jr. books.  By middle school he had read through all the science fiction in his local branch library, in alphabetical order.  He enjoys introducing people to unorthodox ideas like recumbent bicycles and shoes with toes, sometimes simultaneously.  When the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and Chorus performed Howard Shore's music from the Lord of the Rings movies, he coached the chorus on pronunciation of Tolkien's languages.
