Saturday Night LARP: ARCHONIA!
The king is dead, and open war is nigh upon Archonia. The crown lies in dispute as the lords of the great houses gather to settle the affair. Honor demands that you submit your sigil to any who bests you in single combat. Who will rule, and who will bend the knee? Noble artisans bend metal into magic, hoping to forge new weapons and unlock secrets to win the crown. The key to victory may lie in the catacombs, where a deeper magic has unleashed supernatural creatures, long thought banished. The great houses vie with enemies from within and without.
Players assume the roles of heroes and villains in a fictional world based on 7th Sea Role Playing Game, an alternate version of early modern Europe. The background sheets explain the individual roles and goals of each character. The objectives may involve social deduction, competitive, or cooperative play. Mandatory rule meeting at 6:30. Gameplay runs from 7-11pm at the Doubletree Hotel. No physical contact is allowed. Space is limited, 20-30 players. $5 entry fee. This game is not recommended for minors.
