Cathy Hird lives in a forest on the shores of Georgian Bay. A recently retired sheep farmer, she writes YA fantasy and works as a United Church minister. She weaves tapestries and scarves and tells stories that pull together threads of ancient myth and modern questions. Cathy also writes non-fiction reflections on climage change and spirituality
Cathy's contemporary trilogy draws on Celtic mythology and the legends of King Arthur and the court of Camelot. Her love of Greek mythology is seen in the novels set in bronze-age Greece.
