
Bahman Ashraf Semnani
Bahman (Ben) is a Ph.D. student specializing in digital business strategies, focusing on AI-driven business strategies, data-driven business strategies, and human-machine interactions. With nearly 18 years of experience, including 15 years as a project and business manager, Ben brings a wealth of practical expertise to his research. He is PMP certified and has worked in critical roles at prominent companies such as Huawei and major IT/ICT firms in Iran. Ben's research aims to develop innovative strategies that leverage digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Big Data to drive business growth and enhance organizational performance.
In addition to his studies, Ben is actively involved in teaching. He serves as a contract instructor at the Sprott School of Business and a Part-Time Academic - Post-Secondary Professor at Algonquin College's project management program. Through his teaching roles, Ben imparts practical knowledge and equips students with essential career skills.
Ben's diverse professional background, combined with his academic foundation in strategic management, positions him as a well-rounded researcher and practitioner. He seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice in the fields of AI business strategies, AI Governance, and human-machine interactions (HMI). His research delves into the intricate dynamics of human-machine interactions within organizational contexts, exploring how organizations can effectively harness emerging technologies to achieve sustainable competitive advantages.
Ben aims to uncover novel insights and develop actionable strategies for organizations by examining the intersection of AI, data, and human-machine interactions. Through his research, Ben strives to contribute to the advancement of digital business strategies, providing practical guidance for organizations to thrive in the evolving digital business age.
