My research interests include understanding different types of linkages between organizations in different industries and ecosystems as well as the impact of such linkages on the relevant organizations, industries, and ecosystems at both local and global levels. I am particularly interested in understanding the process of knowledge and technology transfer through such linkages in different subsectors of information technology including artificial intelligence (AI) and health AI.

I am proficient in applying network analysis, quantitative, and qualitative approaches in research, and have modeled the global Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) network to study how a country's position in the global FDI network is related to the technological advancement of the country. I would like to conduct further studies at the regional level by exploring the local ecosystems. Currently, I am exploring the underlying reasons and processes of firms’ international partnerships in a regional context.

In all organizations past events, even if they are unique or at least very unlikely to recur, have strength beyond their ambition. In terms of NCA Theory they have persistent influence and therefore are durable actors in the network regardless of the presence of human actors who had direct experience. The crisis in education of March 2020 will never unenroll from our network of management education. As a result, it will resonate in institutional choices, individuals' decisions and forever ...

We live in a world that emphasize the rational and the objective. We cling dearly to objective facts, rigorous thought and rational decisions. In doing so, we risk losing sight of the internal world and our emotional and intuitive aspects. Understanding our “inner theatre” is essential, but also an uphill challenge, fraught with difficulties and anxieties. In this conversation, Manfred F. R. Kets de Vries explores the essential need to build self-understanding and the difficulty in doing so.

Sustainably comes in many forms and exhibits many facets. Virtually all of them have been challenged in the last year. A global pandemic has massively disrupted the world at large, and with it organizations, economies, communities and nations. The vocal cry of populism—already visible before the pandemic—has not quietened. While there is a natural desire for life in a post-pandemic future to return to normal, that is an outcome that isn't possible. We will find a new normal in time. ...
