Michael Ogoms

1

My name is Michael Ogoms (Oh-Gums)- I am a Queen’s University alumni, currently finishing my MSc Management program at Concordia University. I’m originally from Winnipeg, but I have lived in Scotland for the last 8 months working remotely on my thesis.

My thesis focused on neurodiversity with the goal to (a) promote a more constructive view of what learning differences can provide to individuals and organizations, (b) show how psychological and social factors can improve performance for individuals with learning differences, and (c) counteract the stigma many individuals with disabilities face.

I have experience in the consulting industry working as an analyst intern at MNP, where I helped conduct projects involving culture assessments and other public service analyses. I am currently working for PwC as an associate consultant in the Workforce of the Future business unit.

I was fortunate to be awarded the inaugural PwC leadership/DEI scholarship and have a strong belief and values centred around DEI implementation and research.
