
Dr. Geneviève Bassellier
Geneviève Bassellier is an associate professor of Information Systems and the Vice-Dean (Programs) at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia. Her research interests include the role of social factors, persuasion, knowledge and emotions in Information Technologies adoption and implementation. She has published her work in several top IS journals, such as MIS Quarterly, ISR, JAIS, and JMIS. She is currently on the board of editors at the Journal of MIS and has served as Associate Editor for MIS Quarterly. She served many roles in IS conferences, including Track co-Chair and Associate Editor as well as a Doctoral Consortium Faculty Mentor at ICIS and AMCIS.
