
William H.A. Johnson
William H. A. Johnson is Professor of Management (Strategy & Innovation) at The Pennsylvania
State University, the Behrend College’ Black School of Business in Erie, PA, USA. His research
and teaching are at the nexus of innovation, strategy, and international business. He is an
award-winning author, having published in top business journals such as Research Policy,
Academy of Management Learning and Education, Technovation, Journal of Business Research
and Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice. He has authored several business books. He is also a
consultant on conducting a precision-driven approach to developing strategic processes and
plans. Recently, he was awarded a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award for research on lean innovation
in Thailand during early 2024.
