Diana L. Paxson has been been writing fantasy and appearing on the program since the first Baycon. She has written 29 novels and many short stories, and is best known for the Westria novels, her historical fantasies, and for taking over the Avalon series from Marion Zimmer Bradley (most recently, SWORD OF AVALON). She also edited SWORD AND SORCERESS XXI, was a judge for the Pagan Fiction Contest, and edits the Asatru journal, IDUNNA. She also writes non-fiction, most recently, /THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO POSSESSION, DEPOSSESSION AND DIVINE RELATIONSHIPS/. She lives at Greyhaven, a large, multi-generational house full of books, computers and guests, in Berkeley.
