Tim Simpson, “Darth Solar”, is a costumer, poet, fanboy, geek, nerd, thespian, and history buff. He blames his lifelong obsession with Star Wars on his mother, who saw fit to watch the first film in the theater while pregnant. After seeing Return of the Jedi in theaters, he decided that Royal Guard was a worthy career ambition, and in mid-2013, he graduated from the Imperial Academy on Yinchorr. Since then, he has been making charity appearances with the 501st Legion, and has made club history, being the first member to troop with all four California Garrisons. His other interests include leatherwork, sour ales, and historical reenactment of the Renaissance, Dickensian London, and Ancient Celts. Currently, he resides in San Diego, where he is Captain of HMS Bedivere, the local chapter of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
