Lunar Exploration

Tag:

When:
1:30 PM, Friday 24 May 2019 (1 hour 30 minutes)
Where:
San Mateo Marriott - Connect 5
How:
With China's landing on the far side of the Moon and NASA's administrator talking about colonizing the Moon, there is clearly waxing interest in the only celestial body ever visited by humans. What is likely just talk, and what is possibly actually going to happen in lunar exploration, colonization, and even exploitation? Is all of it a good idea -- the more the merrier -- or should there be limits? How will it all work in light of the Cold-War-era Outer Space Treaty?
