Rabbi Kariv was appointed Executive Director of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism in January 2009. Since that time the Movement has grown to 45 congregations and Rabbi Kariv has been active in not only advancing the Movement in Israel but also fighting for a pluralistic and democratic state.
