Or Zohar is a musician, teacher of Jewish Spirituality, and a Jewish Reform Rabbi in northern Israel, serving as the reform rabbis of the Misgav Regional Council in the Central Galilee.
Or Zohar is a composer and performer of sacred Jewish music. He travels regularly as a musician and scholar in residence, sharing his music and teachings in congregations in North America and around the world.
Together with his wife Feliza, he has recorded two Albums -Lev Tahor and Mikolot Mayim, and his music is has been published in several TMP publications.
Rabbi Zohar is currently a doctoral student in Kabbalah studies in Tel
Aviv University. He received his rabbinic ordination from the Jerusalem campus of HUC-JIR, has a Masters in Jewish Philosophy from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor's degree in Jewish Thought and Indian Studies from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is currently working on his PhD in Jewish Philosophy in Tel Aviv University.
Rabbi Zohar is the former rabbi of Congregation Ma'alot Tivon in kiryat Tivon, and former founding rabbi of Kehilat Halev in Tel Aviv.
Rabbi Zohar and his wife Feliza live with their 4 children in the village of Hararit in the central Galilee.
