Sofi Hersher holds a Master of Arts degree in Religion in Contemporary Society from King's College London as well as a bachelor's degree in Comparative Religion from the University of Washington-Seattle. Raised in Sacramento, California, Sofi is a devoted member of Congregation B'nai Israel and an alum of both NFTY-CWR and Camp Newman/Swig.

Sofi has contributed writing to the Interfaith Alliance's State of Belief blog, USC's Religion Dispatches, and PopSugar News. Her thesis research focused on the use of Twitter by interfaith practitioners in the UK, utilizing her experience as (among other roles) Global Brand Manager for Twitter, Inc. from 2011-2015. She recently completed a year at the Inter Faith Network for the UK, working to grow awareness and participation of UK Inter Faith Week through strategic partnership development and use of digital media. She is now the Digital Communications Manager at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism in Washington, DC.
