Julie Zauzmer is a religion reporter at The Washington Post, where she reports on people of all faiths in all corners of the country. Since she started working at the Post in 2013, her favorite reporting experiences include spending the night at a West Virginia senior-citizens sleepaway camp, touring Mormon and Hare Krishna temples, sitting in on Kentucky's public school Bible classes, and most recently, attending an Iowa caucus. When she is practicing religion instead of writing about it, she is a proud Reform Jew.
