Dana Johnson is Reinvestment Fund’s Managing Director for Maryland and Washington, DC. In this capacity, Ms. Johnson oversees the Baltimore office of Reinvestment Fund and manages the relationships and business development activities in the region. Ms. Johnson is also Reinvestment Fund’s Managing Director for Credit. In this capacity, she supervises Reinvestment Fund’s credit approvals and has frontline responsibility for implementing the organization’s credit policy consistently across originations. Ms. Johnson has 20 years of experience in community development and affordable housing. Her expertise includes knowledge of a wide array of financing programs, such as FHA-insurance, 501(c)(3) bonds, HOME, CDBG, New Market Tax Credits, Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits. Ms. Johnson was previously Vice President at Homes for America, where she was responsible for overseeing a staff of developers and managing an active pipeline of rental housing projects. Prior to that, she was a Fund Manager with Enterprise Social Investment Corporation underwriting LIHTC investments. Ms. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a master’s in Public Affairs and Urban and Regional Planning from Princeton University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Baltimore’s Neighborhood Impact Investment Fund, Community Development Network of Maryland and ReBuild Metro.
